The weather forecast for today says clear & cloudy with a chance of rain!

I never rely on the British weather for work – I’ve been caught out too many times for that I I normally find myself out and about shooting on location so have to bring the weather with me. I like to use CTO (warm light) gels to bring a touch of sunlight to an image by warming the colour temperature of my lights. Today called for something a little different – snow, yes I said snow!! I couldn’t be more impressed with It was like Christmas opening the chilled box that arrived by carrier. Wow – just WOW! Set to work to shoot this lovely fresh produce with our I.O.Shen Knives. Prep hardly seems like handwork with I.O.Shen on your side! Hope you like the final images – Now to work out the name of the long white thing… I feel like one of those city kids on the Jamie Oliver documentary that can’t tell you what a carrot is unless it’s out of a tin.
